We have been to 5* hotels that don't match the standard of this lovely B&B. 2 adults and 4 children is always hard to find places to stay, was not a problem here. The service and welcome was the BEST !!

The location of The Plaine was perfect - a gorgeous and peaceful village brimming over with character within easy driving distance of Bath. The room was lovely and the breakfast wonderful. Most important though was that they really went to every effort to look after us. Wholeheartedly recommend.

We stayed at The Plaine for 4 very comfortable nights while we attended a family wedding reception in the area... a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of England .. most welcoming and helpful ... and the breakfasts were just wonderful!
